“Although I have stayed at many lovely properties, I have never stayed at an Airbnb property twice until this one. This property has everything I look for in a stay: unique attributes (outdoor shower and hot tub), top-shelf amenities (a kitchenette with everything I needed, incredible linens and pillows), private and perfectly situated in the hills above Wailea. Hutt and Greg’s hosting hits the sweet spot between knowing they are there if you need anything and feeling like you have the entire property to yourself. Count yourself lucky to stay here. It has my most superlative recommendations and I can’t wait to return again!”

“Hutt and Greg were wonderful hosts! The communication was super and they managed that rare tightrope act of being available AND giving us our privacy. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location was perfect; away from the hustle and bustle which made for a calm and quiet ambiance, yet we had close car access to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The views from the patio were lovely. We would definitely stay here again!”

“If you are like us and you don’t want to be packed in resort villages and around people all of the time, Hutt and Greg’s place is perfect!! This unit is very private and has a beautiful view of four or five Hawaiian Islands, depending on how you count. We saw multiple awesome sunsets and whales in the distance just sitting on the porch. We ate breakfast on the porch nearly every day as well. Their property is gorgeous and well-maintained and has dedicated private parking. We preferred being in Kihei and near Wailea as opposed to other towns because comparatively, Kihei felt somewhat less touristy than the more ritzy and large Lahaina, but had more amenities than say Kahului or Wailuku. It’s also centrally located so it never felt like too far of a drive to get to any part of the island and we got to see a lot of it in our week there. Their place has access to two hot tubs (we especially liked the private one), a functional kitchenette (microwave, coffeemaker, blender, fancy toaster oven that we used to make baked eggs and toast), washer/dryer, Great bathroom and outdoor shower for the hot tub, streaming TV and big king bed. We were so grateful that their place was available for our week away for my husband‘s birthday. We hope if we get back to Maui that we would stay here again. Hutt was very hospitable, gave us a great orientation, some fresh papayas and Greg took care of the one very small problem that we had quickly. Definitely recommend!! It’s not cheap to stay but it was worth it for the privacy, great accommodations, and location.”

“Simply put, Hutt & Greg’s home is perfection. Perfect location, 2-minute drive to the beach/shops/restaurants/grocery store, everything you could need or want. It is private and open at the same time which I loved, thank you to the Architect that built such a beautiful home. The stars at night, the birds in the morning and throughout the day, you are in absolute paradise. I enjoyed every little detail and the hot tubs were wonderful to enjoy at the close of beautiful days. I will stay here again in a heartbeat and fully recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Maui lifestyle in the most wonderful space, people and Mana. Mahalo and Aloha! “Great property and great hosts! Hutt went above and beyond to make the entire experience easy, from the time we booked until the time we departed. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and one of our only regrets is that we didn’t spend more time on the lanai, which has a beautiful view. I was pleasantly surprised by a birthday cake for me the hosts had obtained at my wife’s request, and an offer of a late check-out was very much appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“We had such a memorable time at the apartment. It contains everything you need. The views are stunning and the location is perfect for exploring the whole island. We really appreciated the perfect balance between privacy and “here for anything” that Hutt and Greg maintain so well. We also enjoyed our chats whenever we met in the drive way. Hearing about other people’s lives is so interesting and broadens the mind in a very healthy way. Especially when they are so different from your own. We felt very comfortable in Hutt and Greg’s company and could probably of chatted all day if we didn’t have a beautiful island to explore. But explore we did and the five days we spent on Maui will always be fondly remembered.”

“What a perfectly perfect gem of an oasis. From the minute we booked, Hutt was gracious, helpful and kind. He and Greg have created a beautiful, stylish and well outfitted retreat. It is clear that they have empathy for the weary traveler. The many thoughtful touches they provide (welcome snacks, guides to restaurants and activities, fresh ripe fruit from the garden) and their positive, respectful aloha energy made it possible for us to unwind immediately. We so appreciated the privacy and serenity of our sweet space. The outdoor shower and hot tubs were divine. “This was my second stay here at this Air BnB and I cannot recommend it enough. It is unequivocally my favorite place to stay on the island. It’s cheaper than the resorts and it’s more private and tranquil than the resorts, plus the western view from the hot tub (which is functionally private) is unmatched. If you’re looking for a tranquil and romantic paradise getaway, this is it. Hutt is also a gracious and charming host who truly understands good hospitality. He’ll offer recommendations and come by to chat, but he’s not intrusive and is happy to let you enjoy your time without interruption if that’s your preference. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough and I know I’ll definitely be back in the future.”

“Our first impression was “This is even better than the pictures!!”. We were so impressed by the property and views. Hutt helped make our first stay in Maui perfect! Hutt and Greg take such great care of their property and the guests. The property is very private and in the perfect location to explore the island. “My partner and I stayed at Hutt and Greg’s beautiful studio for our five-year anniversary and it was the best Airbnb stay we’ve had. This is our second time in Maui and we’ve been to other islands a handful of times as well. The place itself is spacious and tastefully decorated. There were welcome snacks and drinks on the kitchen counter and it had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and plenty of towels. They also provided us with beach towels, chairs and an umbrella which came in handy every day we went to the beach. We loved the amazing views from the lanai and hot tub: it overlooks the ocean and is great to catch the sunset there. Location was perfect: a short drive to plenty of restaurants, shops, beaches, everything! And their place is up in the hills so it’s private, nice and quiet/chill. Hutt and Greg were very communicative and check in/out process was seamless. I loved how welcoming and kind they are. I highly recommend staying here and we’ll definitely be coming back!”
